Almost 100 Filipino children are participating in the Philippine Embassy's "Bata-Batuta" summer program in Israel.
The Philippine Embassy in Tel Aviv conducted an Overseas Voters (OV) Registration at Mensa Christi Church, in the city of Nazareth on August 1, 2015. There were 19 Filipinos who registered for the OV registration during the mission.
During their first meeting in Tel Aviv on 21 July 2015, Israeli Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Silvan Shalom and Philippine Ambassador to Israel Nathaniel G. Imperial agreed to push for the early approval of a bilateral labor agreement for Filipino workers in Israel.
