    20 June 2017 – Philippine Ambassador to Israel Neal Imperial met with Rabbi Joel Weinberger, Director of PS Kosher Food Works Inc., to discuss ways of increasing the presence of Philippine kosher products in the Israeli food market. There are now eighty-nine (89) Philippine food companies that export kosher products, mainly to the US.

Minister Katz was the guest of honor at the diplomatic reception for the 119th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence hosted by the Philippine Embassy in Tel Aviv.
