    Tourism Promotions Board Delegation To TBEX 2017 Meets Embassy Officials
    Ambassador Neal Imperial and Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) COO Cesar Montano discuss ways of promoting Philippine tourism through professional travel bloggers and social media platforms. COO Montano said that TPB considers TBEX an important and trendy tourism marketing tool with real multiplier effect. He also mentioned that more unexplored Philippine tourism sites are better promoted by professional travel bloggers due to their real-time postings in various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

    The Philippine Embassy in Israel, in partnership with the American Jewish Committee (AJC) Asia Pacific Institute and in collaboration with multi-awarded filmmaker Mr. Noel Izon, premiers the documentary film "An Open Door: Holocaust Haven in the Philippines" at the Cinematheque Tel Aviv on 25 January 2017. The film showing was the kick-off event for the commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Israel in 2017. The screening also coincided with the International Holocaust Remembrance Day on 27 January.
