The 2013 Overseas Absentee Voting in the Israel comes to an end at exactly 2:00pm local time (7:00pm Manila time) as mandated by law. The government has done its part to reach out to our Filipino workers in Israel for their voices to be heard and participate in decision making.

Four Filipino UN Peacekeepers Released From Captivity Posted on 13 May 2013

The recent spate of kidnappings of peacekeepers in the Golan sent another shockwave in the international community, especially in the highest echelons of the UN. The four UN peacekeepers, who were abducted while on patrol on 7 May by Syrian rebel forces Position 86 located in the demilitarized zone, maintained their composure and showed no signs of tension, projecting an unparalleled professionalism and bravery of Philippine soldiers.
