Del Rosario, Chargé d’Affaires Neal Imperial hands over to Honorary Consul General Carmel Hacohen the DFA’s certificate of recognition for his 22 years of loyal and committed service to the Philippine Government on 13 November 2014 at the Philippine Embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel. Consul General a.h. Hacohen is one of the longest serving honorary officials in the Philippine foreign service.

After months of preparations and despite their tight work schedules, 90 OFWs gathered early in the morning on 16 November 2014, at the Terra Sancta School, in Tel Aviv-Jaffa to take the first Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers in Israel conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) with the support of the Philippine Embassy.

Overseas Voting Registration Update Posted on 19 November 2014

The Philippine Embassy in Israel officially launched the 2014-2015 Overseas Voter (OV) registration on 06 May 2014 for all qualified Filipino nationals in Israel to register and vote for the 2016 Philippine national elections. Only registered overseas voters will be able to vote for the next President, Vice-President, 12 senators and a party-list representative in the 2016 elections.
